Early in the morning, our tour guide will visit your pick up point in Kampala or Entebbe and afterwards, you will be driven to Mabamba swamp. Mabamba swamp is 50 km away from Kampala. Upon arrival, you will meet a local guide who will sail with you in a canoe while witnessing various bird species. The highlight of this tour is witnessing the shoebill stork. As long as you are in Mabamba, there is a high probability of witnessing the shoebill stork. Other bird species to expect include White Spotted Fluftail, Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Papyrus Gonolek, Bellied Heron, Grey herons, and others.
